"This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men." Titus 3:8

The Typhoon Relief project has gone into Phase II. We are no longer distributing food and medicine but we have transitioned into a livelihood project. We all know the adage if you give a man a fish today he will be hungry tomorrow but if you teach him to fish he can feed himself and others for a long time. So with this bit of wisdom in mind our Pastors have chosen 50 needy families in the Typhoon Devastated Area to help with livelihood projects. We have advanced a micro loan to each of these families and we are helping them to start a business. These businesses include vegetable stands, peanut butter business, sidewalk vendor stands, and food stands. These are just a few of the businesses we have started.

Brother Lito was a backslidden Christian; thru the livelihood program he has returned to the Lord, he is now attending Church. His business is selling viands called turo-turo restaurant. It means pointing what kind of food you eat.
Marieta is a vendor we are helping and this is her house. She lost her roof during the flood and what she now covers her house with leaks. She is a widow with 3 children and now she can earn enough to feed them. $100 to $200 would fix her house so it would not leak.

We have recently taken in four new children at the Childrens Home in Chihuahua. It is also time for school to start. We are in need of workers at the Childrens Home so please pray that God will send the people He wants. This month we have the added expense of uniforms and school supplies. Several of our older children are attending schools that require a monthly fee of $200.00 - this includes transportation and school supplies. Rudy is one of our students in the prepa (college prep school). Rudy has always had very high grades andwe really want to see him go on to college.
