Once again it is fall soon to be winter. It is a wonderful time of the year. It is time for school to start, cold weather to come and once again the great season of Christmas. We look forward to all of these things at the Childrens Home.
Our children have started school and each of them has to have uniforms. Here are some of them in their new uniforms
Our children love having uniforms. The children know they are poor and where they came from. They also know that on the streets they were in great danger both of starving and being abused. It is important to them to be able to have uniforms and do the things that other children do. It is also important to us that our children be honored and not looked down upon.
It seems to me that children are the same all over the world. They love to have their pictures taken and they will have a good time with their friends and ours, in Chihuahua, are no different.
Some of our older children are going to school and that costs us even more. We do want all of our children to have as much education as possible. We also want that education to help them in their adult lives. With that in mind we have 4 older children going to school at the cost of $400.00 per month. This includes their tuition, supplies and transportation. If anyone would like to help us underwrite this expense we and the children will be sooooo grateful. If we could have 16 people who would like to help these children with only $25.00 per month please let us know and mark your checks accordingly.
We are trying to make sure our children get an education so they can support themselves and not just sit around and turn to alcohol as we so often see of the uneducated.
Rudy is one of our smartest children. He has consistently gotten the highest grade in his class and often in the entire school. He has always been in the top 5. He is one of our older ones that will be receiving this education.
Last month we showed you a couple of our new children from the mountains. We would like you to see the conditions that some of these children lived in.
This is an actual house like many people live in up in the mountains.
We have a desire to help even more children. These are some of the children who need help.
This will take more workers as we are very short in Chihuahua. At present we only have Francisco and his wife managing and taking care of all our children. Please pray for more workers that have a calling and a desire to help the children. Francisco and Chella have a great heart but they desperately need help with all these children. We believe the people are out there to help with this ministry from God please pray that they will come forward and work in this vineyard for the Lord.
Thank you for your prayers and support.
