Mexico

Ron just returned from a trip to Chihuahua to visit the Children’s Home. When he arrived the children were enjoying fresh oranges donated by a local factory.

Chela and Anna enjoy working together and helping the children learn to serve God. Anna came to us when she was 11 and is now 20 and helping us with the other children. The next day was Saturday and the children had a day of work on the farm.

Blanca loves animals and always finds one to play with.

Some of the children weeded the grounds while others picked pecans from the trees.

There was a good harvest this year as we kept the trees watered through the summer

Then it was time to cook lunch over our Mexican Wok.

The children all washed their hands and had to eat in shifts as there are not enough chairs at the farm for all of them to eat as once.

After lunch it was time to play. All of the children love to visit the farm because there is so much more room to run and play than in the city.

Christmas will be here before we know it. Francisco would like to give each one of the children a new pair of Tennis Shoes for Christmas as many of them need new tennies. We can buy a pair for everyone for about $400.00. If anyone would like to help please mark your checks "Shoes for the Children".

If anyone would like to help with Christmas presents for the children please mark your checks accordingly. The children will only receive what we are able to give them. We know and they know that Christmas is far more than gifts that it is our Saviors Birthday. But we would love to be able to bless our children.

It is always nice to be able to buy the home a Turkey for Christmas dinner. They cost about the same in Mexico as they do in the U. S.

We want to wish every one of our partners a happy and blessed Thanksgiving. We thank God for all of you and all you do to help us help the poor and preach the gospel in word and deed.
