"I shall wash my hands in innocence, and I will go about Thine altar, O Lord, that I may proclaim with the voice of THANKSGIVING, and declare all Thy wonders. O Lord, I love the habitations of Thy house, and the place where Thy glory dwells." Psalms 26:6-8
Mexico
We were blessed to have a work team from Abundant Living Fellowship in Deming, NM. They helped pour more cement at the Childrens Home in Chihuahua. It seems to me that all the cement in the world is being used at our facility but they assure me there is plenty of cement left. The team worked hard. They also were a big blessing to the children. They bought pizza for everyone.
You load 16 tons what do you get? Tim & Abraham know it will be a floor.
Girls work hard too. Thanks Mari
We love pizza as much as the children.
Ron loves to play with the children.
They love to play basketball and make baskets with his help. There is more than one way to make a basket!
Our children love athletics and are involved in several things.
Rudy is a good runner and likes track and field. He was involved in a large competition involving different schools. He was so proud to come in 3rd.
We are happy grandparents. Our children are special and we love them and rejoice with their accomplishments.
Philippines
We have received news from the Philippines that the little boy Salvador Camion Jr. has had his operation and is completely recovered. He is very normal now and his parents are so appreciative of the help they received. Without your help he would still need surgery. The little girl, Sherril Jauod will have to undergo another surgery. The procedure was more involved than we thought. She is now undergoing a second surgery to open her anus. At a later date they will try and remove the colostomy and reconnect the bowel. We will keep you updated.
We received the following letter from Pastor Encar:
"Apostle Ron,
Greetings in Christ ,.
Up to this time the rain keeps falling, many towns are already under water. Evacuees are kept in different schools . However inspite of heavy rain day and night, it did not hinder the two nights and one day affair of our students who attended the retreat . Many of the students who attended for the first time are filled with the Holy Ghost , received healing but above all there are 12 Young People who answered the call to enter the ministry . Until last Sunday night the moving of the Holy Spirit continues. There are around 100 students attended the retreat . Through the effort of Pastor Lucy and her husband who prepared the program , solicited money and in kind donations for the foods the result of the retreat is very fruitful and successful.
I'm really excited to see that our Pastor's here are bringing new souls to the Lord. Pastor Sammy has completely renewed his commitment. Now his commitment to reach out to more souls is his first priority . He is now very busy working in the Church together with his wife and reaching out to the students ministry in one of the colleges here in the City where his wife is a teacher. I am so happy for them.
In Pastor Aquino Church the results of the medical clinic that we conducted last October 14 is really good, Two young people received dental work and attended the retreat. Last Sunday in spite of the heavy rain many of those who received medical and dental attention attended. Praise the Lord for what He is doing.
Jane and her youth joined the retreat and they are reaching as many as 100 students in every meeting. By the way we can't start the repair of the Student Renewal Center until the rain stops. We will need more money to be sure that when the repair starts it will be finished.
This is all for now, thank you so much.
SIS. ENCAR."
The Student Renewal Center in Kabacan was destroyed by a typhoon. It will take about $1000.00 to do the complete repairs. Anyone who would like to give towards this need please mark your checks SRC Philippines.
China
Today we received the following e-mail from our contact in China. We were able to send $160.00 which will purchase 40 bibles for Christians in China. Today I went to the place to buy the books and purchased several that will go to the surrounding villages with the men I know here in Wuhan. You have no idea how grateful they are to have them.
Next month will be the big purchase for SW China and I have no idea how many we will send there. As soon as I know I will write you. Tomorrow is Monday so I will go to the bank to pick up the funds you so kindly have sent. I appreciate your help more than I can say.
Christmas
Once again Christmas is upon us. Our children are just excited as your children are. They like all the festivities of the season. If you want to send anything for the children now is the time.
