Mexico
April is the month we have our annual convention in Chihuahua Mexico. This year we had two special guest speakers, Pastor Vincent Baltierra from Alma, MI and Pastor Juan Salinas from Findlay, Ohio. Once again the convention was awesomely anointed.
The pastor of the host church, Pastor Elias Martinez, brought the presence of the Lord down from heaven with anointed worship and praise. The presence of God manifested so greatly that there was a spirit of joy with much dancing as God touched many hearts. Many were restored and renewed as God’s presence swept over them.
The theme of the convention was Nothing is Impossible and all the ministers preached uplifting faith filled messages. On Saturday night a man a man in a wheel chair was brought to the meeting. As Pastor Juan was preaching this man attempted to lift himself from the wheelchair and stand.
Pastor Juan shouted from the pulpit "Rise up and walk in the name of Jesus." At first two men began to help him walk down the aisle of the church. As he began to walk he took more and more of his weight on his own legs. Eventually he sat down on one of the church benches where he sat for the rest of the service. During ministry time he got up and walked to the altar by himself where he then knelt and was ministered to. Afterwards he was able to walk back to his place in the church.
After this there was a great outbreak of joy and dancing and shouting in the presence of the Lord. The Lord moved upon the people and many were restored from struggling with their walk with the Lord to being on fire for the Lord. There was much repentance with many tears at the altar. Many gave testimony of physical healing as they were ministered to by the laying on of hands.
While we were in Chihuahua we and our visitors visited the Children’s Home. Our visitors always fall in love with our children and this time was no exception. Many of the children sat with the visitors during the services and they all worshipped together. Our children love it when we have visitors. They are always smiling and love to play basketball with the visitors. As you can see our children are growing up and they are growing in the Lord. We are in need of some new bunk beds for the new land. We will need 10 sets at $300.00 each. Please pray for this need.
Philippines
The Bible School just finished a month of intensive training during their Summer Vacation. This was not only for Bible School Students but available to all of our Pastors who want on-going training. Several of our Pastors came in from the rural areas. They are very much aware of their need for more training and they are willing to make the necessary sacrifices to obtain this training.
