25th Anniversary Year

Golf Outing
We are gearing up for our 5th annual golf outing. This year it will be in Beloit, WI at the Krueger Haskel Golf Course. Dust off your golf clubs and come play on Sat. Sept. 10th . Mark Sat. Sept 10th on your calendar and come join the fun. Bring a team or come alone and we will team you up. Registration starts at 7:00 AM with a shotgun start at 8:00AM. The outing will include 18 holes of golf, a golf cart and lunch. We have great prizes on every hole and fantastic raffle prizes.
Mexico
We are so pleased and excited about all the good things going on at the Children’s Home. Our directors are doing a great job. They have all become one big happy family. The directors Picture Off we Goundertook a camping trip with all the children. That is more than I can imagine. Taking 25 children camping is not something for the faint of heart. Our desire and the desire of our directors is that our children will have as many advantages as we can give them. So with that in mind they packed up the trailer and all the kids and off they went.
The children had a wonderful time. They sang songs, went swimming, sat around the campfire, went hiking and had lots of fun.
This is the computer age so we try to have the children and the directors wives know and be able to work with computers. To do this we have classes for those who are willing and some that are not.
All of our children gladly participate in school functions. They love the parties and fiestas. They get a chance to dress up with the other children.
Yoni’s birthdayBirthdays are another big thing. Every child has his own birthday with cake and plenty of brothers and sisters to help celebrate. The children’s home is always busy but each of our children feels special and the love of Jesus and the directors love. Please pray for our directors for their continued strength, health and prosperity.
In April we had our annual convention of our churches.
All of our churches and mission works come together to worship Jesus. This is a time when members of the churches in Lerdo and San Juanito have an opportunity to fellowship with the members from churches in Juarez and Chihuahua.
All of our churches look forward to this once a year get together. The services were tremendously anointed. God continues to knit the hearts of the people together in a mighty way. This year two churches indicated their desire to join the organization “Dios es Amor” which is our legal name.
Africa
On May 2nd we will be leaving for Zimbabwe Africa which used to be Rhodesia. Please pray for the youth conference where we will be ministering May 6th and 7th in Gweru, Zimbabwe. Pray for the ladies meetings Bernadette will be ministering in. Pray for Ron & Bernadette as they teach Bible School students in Kadoma, Zimbabwe. Please pray for all the other ministry that will be done while they are there. There is much Malaria, TB, and AIDS in this country. Pray that God will use R & B to heal these diseases in particular. Ask God to bring souls into the Kingdom. Pray that R & B will be protected from the diseases and for safe travel. Zimbabwe is a country in turmoil. There is no gasoline and the food is very scarce. Please keep R & B in your prayers during this time of travel. They will fly out on May 16th returning home on May 18th.
