The first weekend of April we held our annual convention of churches in Chihuahua, Mexico where all our churches come together for teachings and to praise the Lord. This is an event that the people look forward to all year. It is a time of seeing old friends and enjoying the
presence of God and anointed ministry. This year we had three special guest speakers and Ron minister to the people. The guests were Pastor Juan Salinas from Ohio, Pastor Ron Miller from KY and Pastor Larry Troyer from IN. All of the speakers brought powerful ministry and the people were blessed.

We praise God that because of your response Salvador and Sheril are going to have the surgery they so desperately need. It is good to know that we can help children like this if we all work together. If the surgeries have been completed when Ron is there he will bring us some pictures. We thank all of you who have prayed and donated toward these needs. This will be a life changing event in their young lives. We can not imagine what a blessing it will be for these children to live a normal life. Handicapped children in both the Philippines and Mexico have a much harder life than children with the same problems here in the US. Please pray that all will go well with these surgeries and that too much time has not passed so the Drs can do a great job for these children.
Also, the money came in to fix Pastor Joy's motorcycle. These are all big blessings in the Philippines.
Ron will be opening the new Bible School in Cotabato City on May 28th. Please pray that there will be no problems now or in the future with any of the militant groups that are so prevalent in Cotabato City. We are believing God that we will raise up powerful men and women of God to teach and start new works throughout the island of Mindanao.
The Economic Empowerment Foundation will be operating soon. All of the paper work is in place and we have started sending the money. We have a board that will screen the applicants and a treasurer to oversee the distribution of the funds. We already have several applications for loans to start small businesses. Please pray that this foundation will be successful, that the businesses will prosper and that all the loans will be paid back with proper interest. In this manner the principle can grow and in the future we can help more Christians with even larger loans.
By the time you receive this newsletter Ron and his team (John Boomer -right pic and Tim Morales - left pic) will be in the Philippines. Please pray for their safety and that all travel plans will go as scheduled. Also pray that their luggage will stay with them. Pray that they all be kept in good health and have strength in the extreme heat and humidity.

May 9 - Depart for Manila
May 10 - Arrive Manila (drive 1 hour to Laguana).
May 11 - Day of rest (after 36 hours of travel )
May 12-14 - Pastor's Seminar and Crusade in large federal prison in the Philippines
May 15 - Pastor's Seminar in Sariaya
May 16 - Preach in local churches
May 17 - Fly to Cotabato City then drive to Lake Sebu (2 hour flight and 6 hour drive).
May 18-20 - Pastor's & Leaders Seminar in Lake Sebu (TIBOLI tribal Pastors)
May 20 PM - Drive to Cotabato City (6 hour drive)
May 21-23 - Pastor's & Leaders Seminar in Cotabato City
May 24-26 - Pastor's and Leaders Seminar in Isulan
May 27 - Drive to Cotabato City and rest if possible
May 28 - Dedication of Bible School
May 29 - Fly to Manila
May 30 - Fly home (another 36 hours of travel)
