We praise God for all the great things He is doing at the Children’s Home. We have been able to finish most of the building at our present location. This year so far we have been able to build a new laundry room and apartments for our Directors. The children help as they can.

Our children are the same as any others; we wonder if there is any paint on the walls of the laundry room or is it all on them? This laundry room gives us so much more space for the enormous amount of laundry that must be done daily. This will give us space for the new washing machines that we need, room for folding and ironing the clothes.
The new apartments have increased the dormitory space which will allow us to take in more children.
This is one of the 2 new apartments. Our directors are so happy to finally have rooms of their own. Each apartment has a large bedroom and a bathroom including a shower. What a blessing.
Last years golf outing proceeds allowed us to build the apartments and the new laundry room. Thanks to everyone who participated.
After all our children are cleaned up they enjoy family time in the kitchen sitting around and talking with their Poppy and Mommy. The children are very happy to have a family atmosphere in which they are loved and accepted.
Whenever we visit we bring bags of things for the children and the home.
The children are always happy to help.
These include clothes, household items, toys and books for the children. First the children must help us bring in all the things.
The younger children were excited about the little book that we brought them in Spanish. They all helped read it with such joy. It is amazing how they will help each other with the words and they each have something to say about the pictures.
At the end of August our children will be going back to school. We are in need of school supplies and book bags, etc. It is amazing to me how fast the summer passes.
Golf Outing
It is time to get ready for our 6th annual golf outing. This year it will be at Coachman’s Golf Resort in Edgerton, WI. on Sat September 23. MARK YOUR CALENDARS SAT SEPT 23RD. Bring a team and join in the fun. Once again we have great prizes on every hole. Registration starts at 7:00 AM with a shotgun start at 8:00 AM. The outing will include 18 holes of golf, a golf cart and lunch. Come and join the fun. See ya there!!!
