From time to time we have a visiting Nurse come in to give the children health classes.
Here you see a nurse teaching the children the proper method to brush their teeth.
Then she checks their teeth to see if they need to visit a dentist. The children all hope that they do not need that visit.
Over the holidays many wonderful meals were prepared by the staff and volunteers.
The children enjoyed each and every meal. Their tummies were full.
Christmas brought many blessings to the home including a foosball table. Irving wins again.
There were also holiday parties complete with piñatas filled with candy. What are the children watching?
It is a piñata. Who will break it open so they can get all the candy?
When the candy tumbles out the children all scramble to pick up as much as they can before it is all gone.
Francisco, our Director, provides a father’s love to all of our children. Many of them have never known a loving father. They all love the hugs and the personal attention. We believe that many emotional wounds are being healed in our children by the love that our directors show them daily.
If any churches would like to take a special offering to help Ron with his trip to the Philippines we would appreciate it. Please let it not take away from any regular support as giving has already fallen this year.
