"I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you." Joshua 1: 3&5 NIV

We For the second year in a row Forest City Fellowship
from Rockford Il sent a work team to help the Children's Home. This year they raised enough money to take all the children to a water park. Our children had never been to such a wonderful and fantastic place. The Mexican and American women all fixed lunch. We had a picnic pool side. Most of our children had never been on a picnic. They had such a wonderful time. They wore themselves out and fell asleep on the way home.
There was time to play and time to work. Like last year this team worked hard and was a great help to the home.
This team, like the last team, had to mix cement on the ground by hand. That is a lot of work but they were up to the job.
The team brought new toys for each child and a new set of sheets for their beds. What a joy.
While the team was there we made a trip to our Mission Work "San Juanito" in the mountains. The church is not finished yet so we had services under the heavens.
The Pastor and the small congregation are just beginning to build the new church. They still need a floor, a roof and doors and windows. This work is building slowly but we know that it will be built. We are excited to see that they are doing the work themselves.
They do not have electricity yet so all services have to be completed before dark. And we pray that it does not rain while we are having a service. Going to San Juanito is like going back in time a 100 years or more. You can imagine small mission churches like this in America as settlers pushed West.

We are continuing to investigate the cost of the land in Dalican. We really would like to purchase this property as there is no other Christian outreach for a radius of at least 60 miles. This is a heavy Muslim area.
All other Christian ministries have been scared off by the Muslims in one fashion or another. There is no guarantee that the Muslims will not try to scare us off but we are dedicated to stay and see the Gospel continue in this area. Our leaders in this area have their services on Friday as that is the day the Muslims have their service and it is safer. They young ladies have had to adopt the Muslim head covering in order to move about freely. Please pray for the $1,000.00 we need as a down payment on the land. Also pray that the seller will not back out. They have already raised the price to $3,000.00. We greatly desire to see this ministry continue as this area is in need of a Christian outreach.
